Saint Mary School

Preschool Program

Our Saint Mary Preschool is fully licensed through the State of Michigan. We offer both half-day and full-day options for students who are three through five years of age and who are fully potty trained. In general, students who are three years old by September 1 attend our 3/4 preschool class on Tuesdays and Thursdays (either half-day or full-day), and students who are four years old by September 1 attend our 4/5 preschool class on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays (either half-day or full-day). The vast majority of our students are ready for kindergarten after attending our 4/5 preschool class.

Catechesis of the Good Shepherd

Jesus said, "Let the children come to me, and do not prevent them; for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." Matthew 19: 14

Our preschool students participate in The Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, a Montessori based "hands on" faith formation experience that gives children the opportunity to grow in love and knowledge of God. They work, learn, and pray in the atrium approximately once every week.
